BE MINDFUL OF YOUR BELIEFS

Ever caught yourself saying, "I’m just like my mom," or "I take after my dad"? Be careful.

Because with that belief, you might be unconsciously repeating their stories—without even realizing it.

Here’s an example:

Did your mother get sick, have accidents, or face difficulties whenever she felt neglected? If you look closely at the past, you might notice a pattern.

Society has conditioned us to show more compassion, care, and attention to those who are unwell or struggling. Without realizing it, we offer more love when someone is in pain.

Now, if you grew up witnessing this, what happens? You might unconsciously start associating love with suffering.

Or maybe you heard things like, “You’ll only appreciate me when I’m gone.”

And if you also believe you take after your parents, you might find yourself unconsciously punishing those who disappoint you by pulling away, by making them feel your absence.

Because somewhere deep inside, a part of you thinks, “This is how I get noticed.”

But remember—this belief was formed by a child who was only trying to make sense of the world. And that child didn’t know better.

This pattern didn’t start with you. Your parents inherited it from their parents. And now, you have a choice.

If you’re aware of it, you can break the cycle.

Look closely at the people around you—the ones who always seem to be sick, always finding themselves in accidents.

Is the attention they receive fueled by love? Or is it fueled by pity?

Do you want to be pitied, or do you want to be truly seen and loved for who you are?

It’s time to break free from this cycle.

It’s time to transform the beliefs you inherited, to shift your perspective.

Because once you recognize the pattern, you can finally rewrite the story.

How do I know?

Because I’ve lived it. I’ve put my own life under a microscope, dissected these patterns, and worked to heal them.

And if I can do it—so can you.
