BRIDE AND GROOM

This morning, I found myself looking at a wedding photo and wondering, "Why are the outfits black and white?"

The answer I came up with was this: Two people from different families, cultures, and pasts come together, blending their own black and white into something new—a color unique to them. Marriage should not be about one remaining purely white or the other staying completely black. It is about mixing, stirring with patience like a wooden spoon in a pot of colors, tasting, adding, and removing ingredients until the perfect balance is found.

The bride’s white and the groom’s black symbolize the day they say "yes" to each other. It is the moment they commit to the ceremony of creating a unique flavor in life together. And that flavor—one they craft themselves—should be warm, constantly evolving, always adjusting, and forever moving toward something richer, deeper, and more delicious.

📌 What do you think? If marriage were a dish, what flavors would define it for you?
