DON’T WAIT, YOU SPEAK

I say, if you feel like crying, cry. If you feel like laughing, then laugh out loud. And if you love someone, take the risk and say it.

“What if they don’t love me back?”

So what? Are you only going to express your feelings based on how the other person feels? If you love them, say it—for yourself. Maybe, just maybe, they’re waiting for someone brave enough to take the first step. And yet, you’re waiting for them, and they’re waiting for you.

And time? It keeps moving. One day, you’ll realize it never waited for you to be ready.

What about them? “Why don’t they take the first step? What if I get rejected?” And so on, and so on…

Your mind is full of thoughts that lead nowhere. So, my friend, let them go. Just act. Right now, in this moment—because the present is all you have.

Take the step. Don’t be fooled by the slow, sluggish ticking of your fading clock. Don’t let your time run out before you dare to say “now.”

May luck be on your side. Take the step. Speak. Share. Time doesn’t wait, and neither should you.
