EXPERIMENTS

Sometimes, I search for a magic word.

I feel like a treasure hunter, chasing hidden meanings between the lines of someone’s speech.

The treasure is right there—A breath away, a single word apart.

But no—

Whenever I start looking for the treasure outside,

The delicate mechanism meant to detect it seems to break down.

It’s as if life itself whispers:

"You will have to try."

No more wasting time chasing external clues—

"Yes, no, maybe, the time is right, wait, it’s too late, the conditions are perfect, I’m behind you, I support you…"

Just try.

Crumple it up. Try again.

Like an athlete training for months before stepping onto the field—

Practice, push your limits, experiment.

Gifts do not arrive before the journey begins.

You don’t receive birthday presents unless you grow a year older first.

Living is an experiment,But it has no rehearsal.

You step forward, unaware of what’s ahead—

Life itself is an ongoing experiment.

And even if someone were to tell you how much time you have left,

You would still try to stretch it further—

Because we can’t help but keep trying.

We call it experiments.

Everything you desire, everything you dream of—

It’s right there in the trying.

The windmill I ride carries me gently, effortlessly, around the world.

The breeze moves through my hair,

As if tracing the delicate lines separating land and sea on a map.

The wind touches my hair,

My hair brushes against my lips,

And my lips meet the warmth of my coffee.

And in that moment—

I try.

This spring morning, in a small café on Knez Mihailova Street in Belgrade,

I whisper to my pen.

I am excited.

I am afraid.

But fear has never stopped fate—

So, I try.

Silently.

What about you?

Is there something you've been waiting to try?

What if today, instead of waiting for signs, you simply started?
