IS IT REALLY NO?

No!
No, is it really no?
No, or maybe?
No, but… yes?
We get frustrated when people don’t take our “no” seriously.
We say “No means no,” and yet, when someone insists, we get angry.
Or we say "No" but secretly think, "If they push just a little more, I might change my mind.”
Sometimes, we say "No, but depending on the conditions, maybe…" which is just another version of no.
Most of the time, yes and no aren’t as clear-cut as we think. And the funny thing?
Sometimes, even we aren’t aware of it.
If your answer and the reaction it provokes don’t align, maybe it’s time to question yourself.
Ask yourself: "Am I truly sure about this no?"
And if you’re not, then what do you actually want to say?
Maybe you need more time to process. Maybe you need to see the bigger picture.
Until you gain clarity, take the time you need.
Is your no truly a no? Or is it waiting to turn into something else?
