OH, WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY?

"What will people say?"

We've whispered this question inside our heads so many times, locking ourselves within invisible borders, trapped in the tiny prisons of our own making.

But tell me—when you take your last breath, will they be there, whispering in your ear, comforting you, or regretting for you?

Of course not.

So why do we let their imaginary judgment weigh so heavily on us?

I’ve had enough of trying to appear proper just to avoid looking too much. Who is handing out awards for that, anyway?

Sometimes, I feel suffocated—choking on the fear of breaking the rules I built inside my own head. The fear that if I let loose for a second, if I laugh too loud, if I act too free, life will snap shut like a mousetrap and catch me.

But honestly? Let it spill over.

Let joy flood through. Let yourself be ridiculous. Be loud. Be silly.

Because, believe me, the honor of appearing proper is far less rewarding than the freedom of being fully alive.

So, how much of your life is being caged by "What will people say?"
