Just as reading is essential, so is writing. When a person can put their emotions—joy, anger, disappointment—into words, they may later return to their own writing and be surprised by what they find.
Sometimes, when I struggle to make sense of something, I open my notebook to write down my thoughts and feelings. But as I flip through the pages, I realize that the answer I seek was already written on another day, during another event. That’s when I truly appreciate how my writing holds not only my questions but also the answers I once searched for.
Have you ever found answers to your own questions in something you wrote long ago?
