WE ARE ALL AFRAID.

Why not?
Why not try opening your heart today?
Letting your true self come out?
What if you put aside your intellect,
And admitted that you've been searching for a four-leaf clover since childhood?
What if you confessed—
That when you hear a noise in the night,
You’re still afraid?
Franz Kafka asked his closest friend to burn his writings after his death.
He thought his work was too personal, that his life was nobody's business.
(Luckily, his friend ignored him.)
I read about a director once.
On the first day of shooting a film,
He was so stressed that he had a stomach hemorrhage.
We are all afraid.
Even when we pretend to be brave.
Even when we act like we are strong.
Even when we hide it well.
We are human.
We are terrified of—
Being unwanted.
Being rejected.
Failing.
Not being good enough.
And one day, being left behind.
We just don’t say it.
We don’t show it.
Because we think if we admit our fears,
People will mock us,
Look down on us,
Or use them against us.
But what if you tried?
What if you started with just one person you trust?
What if you dared to be honest, raw, and real?
What if you tried to open your heart today?
Are you in?
